Kleresca® is a breakthrough BioPhotonic treatment that significantly and comfortably improves acne, with a demonstrated safety profile. It is offered exclusively in professional clinics.
What is Kleresca®?
Kleresca® harnesses the power of BioPhotonics to safely treat your acne and stimulate the tissue's own repair systems. The treatment uses a high intensity in-clinic lamp together with a photoconverter gel to kill bacteria in the skin and initiate healing.
What is BioPhotonics?
BioPhotonics is a unique light conversion system that is designed to stimulate your skin's own repair at the cellular level. Kleresca® is an innovative BioPhotonic treatment which utilises a multi-wavelength LED light combined with a photoconverter gel.
The gel allows the spectrum of wavelengths to penetrate into the skin to kill bacteria and stimulate your skin's own repair systems. This treats your acne and encourages the build-up of collagen, which may facilitate the repair of acne scarring. Kleresca® is an efficient treatment for all kinds of acne vulgaris, even severe cases.
How is the treatment performed?
A healthcare professional will cleanse your skin and apply the Kleresca® gel to your face. The gel is then photo-activated using a multi-wavelength LED lamp.
You may feel a warm sensation on your skin, and most people find the treatment pleasant and comfortable. After nine minutes under the light, the gel is removed. Your complexion may experience redness after the treatment.
When can you expect to see results?
You should see noticeable improvements to your skin as the deeper layers respond and skin repairing occurs during the six-week treatment course.
For at least six weeks after your treatment, you can expect to see additional improvements to your complexion. Results have been seen to have a long-lasting effect for at least six to 12 months.
Acne facts & myths
By now, you probably know some of the myths. There is no clear evidence to suggest that acne is caused by eating greasy foods or by not washing your face or body enough.
Hormonal changes in the body may worsen acne. Studies have shown that people with acne can have increased levels of certain hormones. This can cause the glands containing hair follicles to grow larger and over-produce oil.
If you struggle with acne, take comfort in the fact that it is not your fault, and Kleresca® was created to help. You should ask your clinician for assistance to find the best solution for your condition.
